23min of Ska : It’s Time to… Start Again!

23ska-bwplaidWow, I really dug back in to my stash for this one! A lot of these tracks are ones that I just couldn’t believe that I hadn’t played yet on the show! Sure, maybe it is a little too ’90s, but don’t act like you don’t enjoy it! For most of the year (save May) I’ve really been pushing new music from established and emerging ska bands, so I just HAD to have a small dip back into what got me hooked on ska way back when (alone w/ a new song that is crazy stuck in my head!)

Bim Skala Bim – Start Again (How’s it Goin’? ’90)
MU330 – LA (Chumps on Parade ’96)
the Smooths – Take a Look (No Breaks ’98)
Kriptolites – vete ya (mueve tus pies con kriptolites ’13)
Johnny Socko – Half Your Brain (Full Trucker Effect ’97)
the Toasters – Freedom (Dub 56 ’94)
Stretch Armstrong – Crackhouse (Lollygag ’94)

Find & like 23min of Ska on facebook. Also, feel free to download this episode. Ska is better on vinyl. Hit up Grandpa’s Casino Recordings, we have a Summer sale going on and some great vinyl records!
