23min of Ska : Boston Cream

To tell the truth, I really never thought about doing an episode focused in on a single city before. And while I’m sure Boston isn’t the only city in the world that could produce such a solid episode, it’s the first one that came to my mind. Heck, I got the idea a few weeks ago and then did nothing but basically research which Big D and Bosstones songs I’d played before (to make sure I didn’t repeat any) until I sat down this afternoon, and it came so easy. Boston, thanks for being such a good town for ska music! (Also, the number of times I typed Bosstone when I meant to type Boston is far too high!)

02:33 – Pressure Cooker – Don’t Mind Waiting (Wherever You Go ’12)
05:49 – Jaya the Cat – Sirens Wail (O’Farrell ’13)
07:51 – Westbound Train – a New Hope (Five to Two ’05)
10:35 – the Pomps – How to Lure People (Indie Rock is Dying ’16)
13:57 – Bim Skala Bim – Everybody’s got Their Style (Chet’s Last Call ’13)
