Neighbors are pretty great, eh? I suggest you get to know yours if you don’t already. I’ve been fortunate enough to have always lived next to some pretty kind folks. From out in the country when there’s an acre of land between you both, to apartments where you can hear each other sneeze, I’ve been lucky to have mostly lived near people I could party with, have drinks with, or at the very least, exchange pleasantries with in the elevator. It’s a small world, so it’s best if we look out for each other, start with your family, extend to your neighbors, it’s always worth it.
We all like ska, right?
This started out as an all covers episode, but that was earlier in the day. By the time the sun set I was in a much mellower mood, and let’s be real, most covers are very uptempo and very ska/punk-centric. So yeah, this one is a little laid back, and the laid back cover hung in there. A relaxing little treat after you’ve binged food all day. Well, that is, if you’re in the U.S. if not, you have a real problem, buddy!
Is everyone ready for 2016? I sure am! Another year for some great ska music! I mean 2015 was a pretty damn fine year! Hell, just in December some truly great ska albums came out, some of them represented on this very episode! So strap in, 2016 looks like it is going to be just as awesome!
