Ok, here we are, ready to start another 23 episode cycle of 23min of Ska! As always, I hope you are ready to join in on music, find some new bands, and remember older ones… but not too much older. As you can see from this playlist, I try to keep it pretty current with just a handful of tracks from the past. So yeah, in the next 23 episodes you’re going to hear a lot of new ska, and yeah, there’s going to be a bit of a “comics” theme going on (hopefully not too annoying) but I hope you stick around if it’s your first time listening, and if not, thanks for coming back, I mean that! It’s the 15th episode where I ask my listeners what they want to hear! Wheeee! Here is the awesome result! I’m pretty happy with it! I got a lot of other good suggestions that I didn’t get a chance to include, so those will either be in a future edition of the “You Call It” series, or maybe I’ll filter a few into the regular episodes. Either way, more good ska for all of you to hear!
This episode is insane, and fast, and punky, and silly. You’ve been warned if you’re not into that kind of thing. It’s got a lot of new bands that I think stand shoulder to shoulder with the more “classic” ska/punk bands presented here.

So here we go again! Oh yeah, it’s a covers episode. No, no, no, don’t let that scare you off! It’s ska covering ska! I mean that’s pretty neat, right? There was a ton of stuff out there for this episode, but I’ve played those songs before. Not going to lie, I thought it was going to be a challenge to find 23mins worth of songs that fit that theme that I hadn’t played before… I was wrong! This came together quite easily! Hell yeah! Good ska all the way around! Enjoy!
This week has been a rough one, and it isn’t fixin’ to get any easier. I’m not going to lie, rough times lay ahead for us all. What can we do? Fight the good fight, of course. Keep our heads held high. Keep your morals and your wits about you. Also, when you get a chance to relax, I hope you do so by listening to this podcast. It’s chock fulla great ska and fantastic songs and bands!
Whew… just under the wire on getting this done on Thursday! Usually, I don’t cut it nearly this close. Hell, this is about 21 and a half hours later that I usually post these up!
