So BIB Records and DVS Media are two different record labels… but they seem to be a bit intertwined. A handful of albums seemingly came out around the same time on each label, both operated seemingly out of the Boston area and they co-released at least one ska compilation. In the end, I don’t know the true story behind them (and I think that I’ll probably be finding out from the slightly older, or more “in-the-know” ska crowd as soon as I publish this) …but I do know this, and this is the important part, they both put out some killer ska music!

Holy heck, it’s a brand new episode! From a brand new computer! Speaking of brand new, check out these first two tracks! The Indecision delivers a brand new song from their upcoming album in April, followed by a brand new cover from Half Past Two from their upcoming music video this weekend! The newness doesn’t stop there, we also have super fresh tracks from Be Like Max, the Operators and Black Square! All supported by some great songs from 2 1/2 White Guys, Thorpedians and Steady Earnest! Oh man, I’m so glad to be getting an episode together and getting it out to you fine listeners! Thanks for sticking with me and the show.

At one time this was to be the final regular episode of 23min of Ska. After this episode was posted the angels were going to come down from heaven, sing a glorious blue beat tune that was to be next week’s end cap to the entire podcast. Sorry, you don’t get angels. You get this episode, which is not a game changer. It is a normal, everyday, awesome-sauce fun time, get down, 23min of Ska episode that doesn’t herald the end of this podcast. In fact it shall go on for quite a bit longer. This is the end of another set of 23 episodes, so it has that going for it, which is nice. Thanks for sticking with me, get ready to stick w/ me some more, to the point where you get sick of me, but not ska. No never stop loving ska, keep listening to that, even if you kick me to the curb! Also, thanks for all the love lately, it means a lot, and it literally keeps the podcast going!
I’m lucky that my headache subsided enough to get you this episode! Also I’m lucky that my computer, which is in ill health, was able to complete this episode! I’m lucky that I get to get another episode full of great ska music out to all of you too! So with out further explanation, here it is!

Hey, anyone gonna be in San Diego this weekend for Comic Con? Hit me up, firstname.lastname@example.org! I’ll be there… kinda got comics on the brain right now if you can’t tell by listening to this episode.
Oh my gosh, I’ve just noticed what I’ve been missing lately on this podcast! Ska-Punk! So you better believe that I weaved a some of that into this episode. Not that I dropped any more traditional stuff, it’s just all in a nicer, more balanced blend this time.
