23min of Ska : Accelerator

23skaCOASTER7This episode is insane, and fast, and punky, and silly. You’ve been warned if you’re not into that kind of thing. It’s got a lot of new bands that I think stand shoulder to shoulder with the more “classic” ska/punk bands presented here.

…and oh yeah, a new Reel Big Fish song. Go nuts!

23min of Ska : Alicia Huberman

23spyHubermanAfter I put this episode together, and much too late, I realized that I missed my chance to look for and include a song by the name “Notorious.” I guess part of the problem was that none came to mind. 23min of Ska : Sherbet

23skaSHERBETWhat is it with the human condition that makes us so sure of things even when they’re false. Why won’t we accept reality as it is and learn and even grow. No, we dig our heels in and refuse to hear truths. Sometimes we even double down on our misguided beliefs and accuse the truth tellers to be liars. There are even people out there who will come up with crazy cosmic ideas that boil down to “No! No! The rest of the world is wrong, I cannot make a mistake or misremember anything!” Sorry, but we all do it. We all make mistakes and hear and misremember things, it happens. It’s best to open your mind and listen a little bit, even do a little independent research if need to. No worries. Let’s all grow and learn together, and stop holding ourselves back.

23skaTIGERTAILOk, well, this week’s episode wasn’t supposed to be this week’s episode. I don’t know when I was going to make an episode like this next, but it wasn’t in my plans. Then the Pomps had to go and release a new and fantastic EP last week and inspire this! Next week I’ll get back with the plan, but this week… this week had to come NOW!

23min of Ska : Maple Bar

Neighbors are pretty great, eh? I suggest you get to know yours if you don’t already. I’ve been fortunate enough to have always lived next to some pretty kind folks. From out in the country when there’s an acre of land between you both, to apartments where you can hear each other sneeze, I’ve been lucky to have mostly lived near people I could party with, have drinks with, or at the very least, exchange pleasantries with in the elevator. It’s a small world, so it’s best if we look out for each other, start with your family, extend to your neighbors, it’s always worth it.
