So in “Trucker Slang / CB Slang” the term “Starving the Bears” means to go the speed limit so that the cops won’t pull you over and give you a ticket. And slowing down a bit seems like not too terrible of an idea right now. We’re all in a rush to get back out into the world, but maybe we should take a minute to pause and see if that’s the best idea. All but one of these tracks has been released since we’ve been in quarantine, hell, some were written and recorded directly because of it! I can’t wait for this lockdown to end, but I don’t mind waiting a bit longer if it means not feeding the bear.

Ah, looks like we’re at the end of another roller coaster of a 23 episode set of 23min of Ska, hence the multiple songs about endings. Hey everyone here’s the last of three episodes featuring songs picked by listeners! All these selections come from listeners on 
What is it with the human condition that makes us so sure of things even when they’re false. Why won’t we accept reality as it is and learn and even grow. No, we dig our heels in and refuse to hear truths. Sometimes we even double down on our misguided beliefs and accuse the truth tellers to be liars. There are even people out there who will come up with crazy cosmic ideas that boil down to “No! No! The rest of the world is wrong, I cannot make a mistake or misremember anything!” Sorry, but we all do it. We all make mistakes and hear and misremember things, it happens. It’s best to open your mind and listen a little bit, even do a little independent research if need to. No worries. Let’s all grow and learn together, and stop holding ourselves back.
So, listeners here’s a ska punk one. If you’re not into that kinda thing, sorry. If you are, I hope I hit the mark for you. I think these songs are all pretty damn great!
