Cards out on the table, Grover is a boss record label! Founded in 1993 by Oswald Münnig, and distributing out of Germany they are as well known for issuing some rad albums but also licensing a lot of great ones too! They’ll help bands from outside Germany and Europe get releases over there, they’ll also issue albums on vinyl when a band’s main label only plans on a CD release. I chose to focus on releases from the main Grover label and releases that were only on Grover or Grover released first, because they co-released and rereleased a lot of great stuff! It’s an embarrassment of fantastic music! Needless to say, Grover has been hooking us all up with great music over and over!

Lysithea is a prograde irregular satellite of Jupiter. It was discovered by Seth Barnes Nicholson in 1938 at Mount Wilson Observatory and is named after the mythological Lysithea, daughter of Oceanus and one of Zeus’ lovers.
Lysithea didn’t receive its present name until 1975; before then, it was simply known as Jupiter X. It was sometimes called “Demeter” from 1955 to 1975.
It belongs to the Himalia group, five moons orbiting between 11 and 13 Gm from Jupiter at an inclination of about 28.3°.
There are certain facts in life. The sun always rises from the East, never drink OJ after brushing your teeth, and most of all, you always double down on eleven (not to mention, always split on eights). Most other advice in life isn’t worth the time it takes to comprehend the words others have spoken, but those 3 (4) hold fast. Don’t doubt them, and use these facts to go forth and conqueror the world. I also wanted to point out that there’s two songs in this episode that are making their world premier, the Pinstripes and the Dropsteppers have a new split 7″ coming out in the next few days, click on the album title for details where to get yr own copy!
Time runs out for the best of us. The most we can do is get out into the world and enjoy it! Some of the bands in this episode are long gone, other have held on for a crazy amount of time! Go see the latter as soon as you can before they become the former. Seriously, everyone, stop complaining about the world and get out in it, it is rewarding, and think of all the stories you can tell later on in life. No one looks back in life and wishes they would’ve done less.
Step up to play! Life is a game, so have fun before the board gets folded up and put away. Somedays I can get so pretentious about life and music, but I just need to step back and remember how everything is supposed to be. Don’t get so hung up on things, remember life is what you make of it, don’t get hung up on things, play the game.
