I’d like to say something enlightening or inspiring to go along with this episode, but I got nothing. All I want to say is enjoy some good ska, because this, right here, this is some good stuff. Well, I think so, taste is subjective and all that, but I hope, I really hope that you find several songs to dig in this episode.

Alright, I’m not here to upset all you ska/punk lovin’ kids, but this week, well, this week I have a laid back episode for you. If it’s not your thing, I get it, but damn, are these songs smooth as hell. When I think of ska I think of it as an inherently cool genre, and it’s these kinds of songs that make me think that. If this kind of ska doesn’t do it for you, I feel sorry for ya son. And for all those that get it, man, I wanna give you all a dozen low fives.
Woo hoo! It’s my birthday today (that is, if you’re listening to this on May 25th) and that mean, Imma gonna play whatever the hell I want. Sure, you may think I do that every week, and that’s mostly true, but I’m also looking to play stuff that I think you, my listeners, will enjoy. I go out looking for new and exciting bands to play for you. This week, nah, I just gathered up a load of great tracks that I want to listen to, if you don’t like it, eh, you got no taste. Sorry, buddy, but this stuff here is still the real deal, if you’re not down, scram. Ok… I may’ve started celebratory drinks a bit too early…
This episode is a bit all over the place, so, in a sense, it’s the perfect 23min of Ska episode. We have ska from all around the world, some of it played a bit more traditional than not. Some bands take it in a jazzy direction, others in a punky direction. Does it still have that ska beat? You bet your ass it does! This is still 23min of Ska, not 23min of Whatever the Hell Kinda Music!
Yes, yet another ending for 23min of Ska. This is only the end of a volume, it’ll be rebooting next week, as always to bring you some more top ska! Hope you all dug the X-Men story line theme, I’ll take any excuse to dig through my long boxes, or (more likely) fire up my tablet and get wrapped up in these stories again. Once again, I hope I’ve spent the last 23 episodes bringing you a few new bands to follow, and reminding you of your old favorites.

I have to say, it was a little tougher than I thought it was going to be, theme wise, but in the end, I feel like it came together. Heck even if the theme faltered a bit, with a line up of bands this solid it is still sure to a great episode! Hope you enjoy it!
