Maroon Town, Unsteady and OC Ska Kids are all knocking it out of the park with their new sounds, which isn’t to say anything wrong with the rest of the songs here. Be Like Max, Half Past Two, Two Tone Club and Stacked Like Pancakes are all fantastic and it’s the combination of them all that makes this another killer episode!

23min of Ska : Nikita

23skaNIKITAOkay, I’m going to level with ya’ll. I’ve never seen “Nikita” AKA “le Femme Nikita.” Hell, I have never even seen “Point of No Return.” But after picking a few songs after reading a plot synopsis on Wikipedia, I decided this episode needed more French bands. So a lot of early picks got replaced, because, well, this is the perfect excuse to get into some French ska! Sure, two American bands remained from the original song line up, but those are good songs which I think are relevant to the film… right? Alright, fine, I just really liked those two songs and didn’t want to replace them, are you happy? Also, I don’t speak French, so I hope that in the songs sang in French those bands aren’t saying some really horrible stuff!
